Kathy Lette has written 14 bestselling novels, including Puberty Blues, which was made into a film and TV mini-series, Mad Cows (the film starred Joanna Lumley and Anna Friel) and How to Kill Your Husband and Other Handy Household Hints (staged by the Victorian Opera).  Her novels have been published in seventeen languages. Kathy is an autodidact (clearly, it's a word she taught herself) but has Honorary Doctorates from Southampton and Wollongong Universities plus a Senior Fellowship from Regents University, London. She is an ambassador for Plan International and the National Autistic Society and has a cocktail named after her at the Savoy Hotel.  Her latest novel Best Laid Plans is soon to be an 8 hour TV series. She cites her career highlights as once teaching Stephen Fry a word, Salman Rushdie, the limbo and scripting Julian Assange’s cameo in the Simpsons 500th episode.

Daryl Karp has extensive experience as media executive in documentary, factual content and digital media.  Previously she was the CEO of Film Australia, and Head of Factual Television at the ABC.  She is a company director of SBS and is the Chair of the Council of Australian Museum Directors.  Daryl was awarded the 2017 Telstra Business Women’s Awards in Public Sector and Academia Award – Australian Capital Territory Winner. She is currently the Director of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House.
