Richard Fidler is the author of the bestselling book Ghost Empire and co-writer with Kári Gíslason of the bestselling Saga Land, which was awarded the 2018 Indie Non-Fiction Book of the Year. Richard is best known as the presenter of Conversations on ABC Radio, the most popular podcast in Australia. In another life Richard was a member of Australian comedy trio The Doug Anthony Allstars. His new book The Golden Maze is a biography of Prague.

Simon Winchester OBE is the acclaimed author of many books, including The Professor and the Madman, The Men Who United the States, The Map that Changed the World, The Man Who Loved China, A Crack in the Edge of the World and Krakatoa, all of which were New York Times bestsellers and appeared on numerous best and notable lists. In 2006 Winchester was made an officer of the Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen. He resides in western Massachusetts.
