Award-winning author Irma Gold regales with her captivating and heart-warming picture books for children. Irma’s interactive and engaging session will take you on a fun journey with the penguin, elephant and bear characters from her books Where the Heart Is, Seree’s Story and Megumi and the Bear.

Irma Gold is an award-winning author and editor of books for adults and children. She is the author of five picture books, most recently Seree’s Story and Where the Heart Is, which was read by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, on her Storytime channel. Irma’s debut novel, The Breaking, was released to critical acclaim and won a Canberra Critics Circle Award. She is also the author of a short fiction collection, Two Steps Forward, is co-host of the Secrets from the Green Room writing podcast, and is Ambassador for the ACT Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge.
