Naïma Brown is the author of the novels The Cruise, Mother Tongue and The Shot and is the co-author of the non-fiction How to Age Against the Machine: An empowering guide for women ageing on their own terms. Her short fiction has been published in Popshot Magazine and the Love on the Road anthology. Originally from California, she now lives and writes on the unceded land of the Bundjalung nation.
