Queenie Chan was born in Hong Kong, and migrated to Australia when she was six years old. Her first published work was the mystery-horror series The Dreaming. After that, she collaborated on graphic novels with authors Dean Koontz and Kylie Chan, and produced her own works such as Fabled Kingdom and Women Who Were Kings. She also published The Mystery Cases of Sister Holmes with Viz, and has a PhD on Comic Studies.
