There is an air of mystery surrounding the publishing industry and it can be hard to work out whether you have a book idea and/or manuscript that might catch the eye of a publisher and the steps you might take to have it considered. Experienced author and publisher Sophie Hamley (who writes as Sophie Green) will ask questions that help reveal: the type of publishing outcome you might be after and why; what different publishers are looking for; and how to start thinking about pitching your work.
