Ian Hamm

Ian Hamm is a Yorta Yorta man and respected advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. With a distinguished career across government and the community sector, he has advanced Closing the Gap initiatives and strengthened First Nations representation in decision-making. Ian chairs the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation and the First Nations Foundation, serves on the Board of The Healing Foundation, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Business by Swinburne University of Technology in recognition of his leadership.

Ilka Tampke

Ilka Tampke is an award-winning author of three novels. Her first novel, Skin, was published in eight countries and nominated for the Voss Literary Prize and the Aurealis Awards in 2015. Songwoman was published in five countries and won the Small Press Network Book of the Year Award in 2019. She teaches creative writing at La Trobe University and the Faber Academy, and is currently completing a PhD in forest poetics at La Trobe University. Her latest novel is How to Love the World.

Inga Simpson

Inga Simpson is the author of six novels, including The Thinning, Willowman, and Mr Wigg, as well as the nature writing-memoir, Understory: A life with trees, and two picture books for children, The Book of Australian Trees and The Peach King. Her latest, Once We Were Wildlife, is a collection of stories exploring the boundaries between the human and more-than-human worlds. Inga has PhDs in creative writing and English literature and lives on the south coast of NSW.

Irma Gold

Irma Gold is an award-winning author, editor and podcaster from Naarm/Melbourne. She is the author of two critically acclaimed novels, The Breaking and Shift, a short fiction collection, Two Steps Forward, and six children’s books, with a seventh forthcoming. Her latest picture book is Come Home, Bigibila, co-written with Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt. Irma works full-time as a freelance book editor, and is the founder and co-host (with Karen Viggers) of the writing podcast Secrets from the Green Room.
