Wai Chim

Wai Chim is the Chinese-American-Australian author of a number of children’s and YA titles including The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling. Her first picture book, Last-Place Lin was inspired by her time on Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawn.

Waleed Aly

Waleed Aly is a writer, academic, lawyer and broadcaster. A lecturer in politics at Monash University, he is the author of People Like Us, Quarterly Essay 37, What’s Right? and Quarterly Essay 87, Uncivil Wars (with Scott Stephens). He co-hosts Radio National’s The Minefield program. His latest work is Quarterly Essay 103, On Speech, Equality and Politics.

William Partlett

William Partlett is Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne Law School and Co-Director of its Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies. He is also the Stephen Charles Fellow at the Centre for Public Integrity. Beyond his academic publications, Partlett has written extensively about constitutions for popular audiences in The Conversation, The National Interest, Pursuit, Crikey, and The Age. His latest book co-written with Rosalind Dixon is The People’s Guide to the Australian Constitution.
